There are various ways to earn your first dollar online but I must tell you this, its not fast and simple. The truth is this, many spend their time trying to find the ‘perfect’ money making system that will help them generate hundreds or tons of money online. They keep searching for months and fall prey to the get rich quick scams or the ‘mom-makes-$250,000-from-home’ hypes. The truth is that making money online entails hard work. Making money in your sleep like some advertise doesn’t just happen but they wouldn’t tell you that. It starts with the foundation and what better way to build a foundation than on hard work?
Am not trying to frightening you here but I believe that if you start making money using the right ideas, you’ll go a long way. Programs where you can legitimately make huge money online exist but you’ll have to invest more than your pocket may contain.  And how sure are you that after investing, you’ll get the returns?

"What if it turns out to be a scam?"

Don’t be fooled by the reviews and comments about a particular product or programme because, most at times, the people who post reviews and comments are freelancers who are paid to do it. Yes! They are all over the internet! And most of those comments can even be made by a particular person. Am telling you this from first-hand experience because that was how I made my first dollar online….freelancing! People with products come to us to help them get specific number of accounts to 'like' their fanpage or to 'click' a particular link.
Right now, if you are out to make your first dollar online, you need to

-FOCUS on the task before you. Sometimes, people make up their minds before coming online to visit a particular site, or to research about ways to make money or try to create a product but when they eventually come online, they find themselves distracted by facebook, and many other social networks. Yes…..it happens! If you are serious about making it online, you need to treat it like a serious business. Imagine coming to work with a PS2 control pad. The priority you give to it reflects on the money you eventual make!

-IGNORE other people’s success. Success stories, no doubt, inspire us. But I believe it gives us two types of inspiration –for hard work and for daydreaming. And the most common these days is the latter. Don’t get carried away by other people’s success and dream about being that successful because the reason you were told about it was not to inspire you for greatness but to break down your defences and get money out of your pocket! Because at the end of the very ‘convincing story’ or ‘inspiration’ you are introduced to a certain program aim at making you spend so that they can get rich. So the next time you read any of those ‘real life’ stories, try reading with the interest to learn from their resilience and resourcefulness.

-HAVE a little money to spend and an open mind. To make it quicker, you will have to spend some money and this is no lie. Every internet marketer knows this but will choose to ignore it because they know what the people want to hear, and to fill their pockets, they feed on the people’s ignorance. The proof of that is what YOU have experienced yourself. How many times have you bought an e-book that promises to make you rich once you buy it and after that, nothing has happened and the account you opened for it as an asset has become a liability draining money from you to fund the various e-books you’ve bought.
Most guaranteed methods of making money online will entail you to spend some cash. Either you are trying to host a website from which you’ll make your revenue or you are trying to pay for an advert. Believe me, you’ll need to advertise if you are willing to make money faster and legitimately. It’s like the saying, ‘if you don’t tell people that you are here, they won’t know that you are there’
And to actually make money through affiliation or affiliate marketing, you’ll need advert bases like Google adword, facebook Advert and high traffic.
I know that it’s a lot to take in but it’s the RAW truth. Most of these schemes in the internet use what I call ‘sales pitch’ to get your money. But that is not to say that the genuine ones don’t exist. They do. And knowing that they are genuine, they charge more.

"So if you find them, then I suggest you use them because making money online is a race. You shouldn’t wait for a referee to blow the whistle first!"
